We created this barndominium design for a family who hosts international tourists on hunting safaris in South Africa. The brief was clear: to create authentically South African spaces that celebrate our way of living and savouring life, while still catering to guests accustomed to high-end style, finishes, and comfort.

The home features a generous braai room (braaikamer), a large kitchen seamlessly connected to the stoep, and living spaces that embrace and celebrate the enchanting local fynbos flora. Positioned sensitively within its natural context, the house takes full advantage of its elevated site, offering breathtaking views of the ocean and distant mountain ranges.
